Cloud Native

Cloud Native is an approach to develop and execute an application that maximize the benefits of the cloud computing model. The Cloud Native application aims for the application development method with the function and structure that can enhance application availability and scalability on an infrastructure, which provides an environment of continuous development and automated management to all of the private, public, and hybrid cloud environment. The degree of “native” can be defined according to the level of utilizing the infrastructure and services provided by the cloud.

Cloud Native Infrastructure

The Cloud Native Infrastructure doesn’t simply means servers, networks, or storage in cloud. It means the governance system that maximizes efficiency by configuring cloud from the system operation aspect, in addition to the resiliency and scalability provided by cloud. Therefore, an efficiently configured Cloud Native infrastructure is integrated with various functions and services that can manage the entire lifecycle the Cloud Native application.

Cloud Native Application

Applications are divided into several services that perform independent functions/roles, and the application architecture contains worry and philosophy about how to configure, connect, and manage those services. Agility required by modern business, and the development of IT that can support the requirement enabled the advent of the Cloud Native application era. Cloud Native applications have the characteristics of the microservice architecture, container, orchestration, and serverless, which maximizes scalability and availability from the aspect of the infrastructure provided by cloud.

Metanet has end-to-end capability to help all processes of the customer, from reviewing the introduction of cloud to installation and operation.
Metanet’s experts will be with the customer in a series of process, so that the customer can establish and design a cloud strategy optimized for the customer’s business environment and needs, and perform migration with the optimal cost and efficiency.

Business Area
Cloud Assessment
Analyzes the As-Is status and checks the configuration of the target system to migrate the system to cloud, and devises an implementation plan for stable migration.
  • Identifying the current system status and reviewing the feasibility of applying cloud by those who have experience in large-scale migration.
  • Selecting a migration method and presenting the cost optimization method by assessing the suitability of proven cloud migration.
  • Building a target architecture and building a cloud migration road map according to the mid-to- long term plan of the enterprise.
Cloud Migration
Conducts effective migration by applying best practices after running prior diagnosis and test on the cloud migration system.
  • Establishing a stable and efficient cloud migration plan by analyzing customer business environment and characteristics.
  • Applying a cloud migration method that minimizes downtime.
  • Supporting stabilization and optimizing costs/performance after migration.

Service Offerings
Public Cloud
Optimizes costs by converting enterprises’ fixed costs to variable costs, and enhances business agility in a quickly-changing market.
  • Using various cloud services immediately without initial investments.
  • Using as many resources as needed to utilize the service.
  • Minimizing cost burden such as IT development and operation.
Private Cloud
Enterprises can design a flexible system according to user definition and form a robust security environment by creating an independent cloud environment in the dedicated resource pool.
  • Creating an environment that is suitable for required system characteristics.
  • Operating at the same management policy and security level with the enterprise.
  • Flexible operation in the system that requires large capacity service and urgency.
Hybrid Cloud
A method of linking public/private cloud and on-premises system, which enables the user to use the advantages of each system while compensating for each other's shortcomings.
  • Taking advantage of public/private cloud as it is.
  • Unified management/operating environment.
  • Providing quick business scalability.
  • Deploying/Developing the existing environment as it is.
